School Supply Drive

More than 250 students in 18 schools got the school supplies they needed this year thanks to a successful Back to School Supply Drive by the Kiwanis Club of Guelph and a local Staples store.  This year’s drive was the most successful in over five years, raising more than $7,700, a news release said.  Principals from various schools provided a list of much needed items, and Staples managers got to shop for the supplies.  Pictured here outside the Stone Road store just before the supplies were delivered are, from left, Kiwanian Larry Smith, Staples employee Rachel Mixer, and Kiwanians Jan Husson, Fred Hoffman and Larry Townsend.
