KIWANIS CLUB OF GUELPH
ANNUAL DUCK DINNER
Thursday September 24, 2009
at Camp Belwood (east of Fergus)
was a great success
with over 50 Kiwanians and guests attending.

Our thanks to
Mike MacIntyre, Karen Ferraro and Patty Carkner
for organizing this annual event.
Our hat is also off to Marion's Country Kitchen
for serving a delicious meal!

Camp Belwood Baseball Game

For over 35 years now, the Kiwanis Club of Guelph has annually challenged the Belwood Camp Counsellors to a baseball game in August, followed by a Turkey Dinner and all the trimmings.
Unfortunately for the Kiwanians, this year we had to settle for Second Place with a score that more resembled a basketball game than a baseball game! In any case, the point of this event is to recognize the care, devotion and attention these young leaders provide to our Campers. For some of the parents and guardians of these Special Needs people, this is the only respite they get.
Our hat is off to Camp Director Christine Murdoch for yet another year of organizing and efficiently running the camp.

Kiwanis One Day
was held on Sat. April 4, 2009. Our Kiwanis Club of Guelph offered some help
to the Kiwanis Club of Elmira, during the Elmira Syrup Festival.

Mike whispers words of pancake-making encouragement to Elmira's John Kendall, which apparently fall on deaf ears

Can you say "Cold Day in April"?

Elmira's Pres Tony has momentarily  forgotten the Prime Directive of Executives... Delegate, Delegate!

Scott Hammond adds 11 herb and spices, following Mark Wemp's instructions.
