Kiwanis Auction
Over the years, the Kiwanis Auction has taken many forms. In early days, it was a Radio Auction, through the auspices of CJOY 1460, followed by or included with Live Auctions at the Guelph Armoury, the old (downtown) John McCrae Legion, John F. Ross gymnasium and even in the vacant Sears building on downtown Wyndham Street. In recent years, we were fortunate to use the facilities of Rogers Cable TV until their program schedule became crowded enough to not allow enough hours to properly present and sell our items.
The Kiwanis Auction as of 2008 became a feature of the Sports Celebrity Dinner, in both a Live and Silent format.
Kiwanian Peter McSherry will coordinate this portion of the Sports Celebrity Dinner night. If you would like to partner with us or to contact him with other questions or comments, email
