Kiwanis paid tribute to Remembrance Day at our Thursday, November 10^th meeting by inviting guests and family members, and having someone come in to speak to the group. We were fortunate enough to hear from Linda Learn, Silver Cross mother of Pte. Mark Anthony Graham who was killed by ‘friendly fire’ on September 4, 2006 in Panjwaii, Afghanistan.

The Guelph Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization that recognizes and honours the achievements of Guelph individuals and teams who have attained prominence and distinction in any field of sport, and who have made a major contribution to the development and advancement of sports in Guelph.

Over 50 members of the Kiwanis Family in division 5 including, Key Clubbers, Circle K'ers, and Kiwanians helped to fill 130 shoe boxes today for Operation Christmas child.

Tee off in support of the Tenth Annual Kiwanis Barney Brown-Bill Frank Memorial Tournament. Teams of four will golf in a scramble format to raise money to help children and their families take part in events to enrich their lives.
