The Kiwanis Club of Guelph supports, maintains and helps (to varying degrees) many programs and organizations in our community. These programs and organizations include the following:

Kiwanis Club of Guelph Belwood Lodge & Camp

Belwood Lodge and Camp provides an authentic camp experience for its participants, intellectually disabled individuals from age 7-99.  The camp is proud to offer leadership opportunities, and traditional camp experiences like swimming, crafts, sports, music, nature study and much more, all while offering much needed respite to the campers’ parents and guardians.  Campers stay for 1-2 weeks and  the camp’s leadership and staff strive to make the camp a home away from home, fostering independence and lifelong friendships.

The Kiwanis Club of Guelph has supported Belwood Lodge and Camp since 1946.  At present, this looks like providing lawn, garden and building maintenance and contributing to the  financial well being of the organization.  For more information on Belwood Lodge and Camp visit their website at:  https://www.belwoodlodgeandcamp.com/

Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph

Each year, the Kiwanis Music Festival provides thousands of young aspiring musicians with performance opportunities that are second to none. As our community’s largest arts-based youth services program we are very proud of the impact we are able to make in the lives of the artists who perform each year, and the inspiration that the community receives by attending and witnessing the talent we have right here at home.

The Kiwanis Club of Guelph is proud to present this event annually, and provide the funds for all of the Festival’s awards and scholarships. For more information on Kiwanis Music Festival visit their website at https://gkmf.ca/
