2011 Kiwanis Memorial Golf Tournament

Tee off in support of the Tenth Annual Kiwanis Barney Brown-Bill Frank Memorial Tournament. Teams of four will golf in a scramble format to raise money to help children and their families take part in events to enrich their lives.

The Tenth Annual Kiwanis Barney Brown-Bill Frank Memorial Tournament, June 7th at Guelph Lakes Golf  and Country Club. Sponsored in part by Jeffery and Spence, CIBC Wood Gundy, Wellington Laboratories and CJOY/Magic FM.

Location: GUELPH LAKES GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB (2 miles N.E. of GUELPH on Hwy.124)
Tournament Format: 4 person scramble
Cost: $165 per playerThe registration cost includes:

  • Bottle of Water

Scramble Rules

4 Person Scramble

  1. Everyone hits from the tee.
  2. Men play from the WHITE tees and ladies play from the YELLOW tees.
  3. Proceed to the best tee shot and everyone will play from there.
  4. Once on the green, team selects their best shot and they all putt from there.
  5. Once the ball is holed, move up to the next tee.
  6. Once team has reached a score of BOGEY (one over par) on a hole, pick up the ball and proceed to the next tee.
    ***This will keep play moving.***
  7. One score per team per hole.

3 Person Scramble

For groups with only 3 players – alternating players hit each hole.

  1. One player plays TWO balls such that the team hits a total of 4 balls.
  2. Only the first ball hit by the player hitting two balls counts for specialty/contest rules.
  3. Must use each person’s DRIVE a MINIMUM of THREE times.
  4. Everyone has ONE mulligan, which may be used at anytime (i.e. drive, chipping, putting).
    ***Mulligans cannot be used to win a prize on a hole.***
